TUSCALOOSA: There’s a hopeful hush in the air when a schedule hits the board. It’s a promise yet to be realized, and for the Crimson Tide, the 2025–26 blueprint is more than dates; it’s as much about courage as competition.
A Season Reborn in the Bahamas
The calendar kicks off on Monday, November 3, at home against Stetson, but the real scene-stealer arrives later in November. The Crimson Tide heads to the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship in Nassau over Thanksgiving week, a colorful stage filled with possibility. It’s only their second trip to the Bahamas, but a symbolic leap for the program chasing new horizons.
That journey is more than a getaway; it’s a nod to past milestones and a chance to build postseason rhythm in tropical heat, sand, and global courts.
Home Sweet Battleground: Coleman Coliseum
Back in Tuscaloosa, the Tide will host 12 non-conference opponents inside Coleman Coliseum, facing teams from eight different conferences, including a first-ever showdown with Kennesaw State and a rare return bout with Stetson, last met in 2018–19.
In December, the Tide hosts the ACC/SEC Challenge for the first time, welcoming Clemson on December 4 in what promises to be one of the year’s most electric matchups, honoring long-standing conference pride.
Fans, mark your calendars: this schedule is meant for marquee moments.
Building on Momentum and Legacy
Last season’s roster made history, 24–9 overall, third consecutive NCAA Tournament berth, and a program-first three players drafted into the WNBA. Under 12th-year head coach Kristy Curry, this squad has grown into a national presence.
Leading the charge was sharpshooter Aaliyah Nye, whose 111 threes eclipsed her own program record and cemented her legacy as Alabama’s all-time leader in that category.
This isn’t just continuity, it’s a deep-rooted evolution of skill, confidence, and identity.
SEC’s Opening Slam at South Carolina
Right after the holiday break, the Tide faces its sternest test: a New Year Day road opener at defending SEC champion South Carolina. It’s a statement matched a measuring stick that says, “We’re ready to compete at the highest level.”
The conference slate through January is packed with rivalry games at Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Auburn, Tennessee, and more a gauntlet that demands physicality, poise, and depth.
Tide vs. Tradition: Navigating Grit and Grace
Look at this season’s narrative and you see roots and wings. Coleman Coliseum remains a fortress, the Bahamas offer fresh energy, and the SEC gauntlet is the crucible for national relevance.
For fans, each game is more than X’s and O’s. It’s about belonging about nights when the band, the roar, and the ball echo a deeper connection to tradition and hopes yet unclaimed.
